Chart Server ideas, images and designs

Image no1  default appearance of chart = 905 pixels user log in or not logged in .

Reason is if logged in they can get MORE features so will sign up ( settings will be remembered next time they log in )

Chart controls at bottom to include

zoom, in and out ( same as trading iq game ) log axis or linear axis, periodicity changes, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly.

chart type to be line, candle or bars ( with high low open close ) or high low close ( no open on bar )

indicators include percent trend, points trend, mach-trend volume. Trend lines to draw ( send email if break out of line and send email if trend changes basis of the indicator )

colours to be user configurable basis of background ( chart ), axis fonts, bars up colour bar down colour, price market colour etc ( take from colour palette )

box to type symbols, and a drop down to show recently viewed, or all symbols and box to change country uk, usa etc

Ideas

1. Forex ranking tables based on relative strength over x period weekly, yearly or user defined period ( in weeks ) EG 500 weeks = 10 years approx

2. Forex charting with two boxes pull down menus to display USD GBP or any other combination.

3, Signed up members can get emails when trend lines they draw on chart get broken or when trend changes based on my indicator or percent or points indicator

4, Sort relative strength of all stocks in any country over x period to find strongest and weakest stocks

5. show historically optimal settings for my indicator or other indicator as a trading system

6. colours of chart bars and axis and background to be adjustable

7. subscriptions for top level of service ( but give them 10 alerts free, or 1 month free ( no quibble cancellation ) or something like that )

8. get data from google finance OR yahoo finance or anyplace where data can be got free

9. reporting of bad ticks by members

10. edit bad ticks by me or other admin

11. charts to show holidays ( blank space where the bar would be ) or not show holidays, auto connect where gaps in data caused by holidays

12. filters to find best stocks by system type ( noise and signal to noise )

13. show top stocks that work best with my indicators and allow back testing basis of different user settings.

14. scan for trend changes based on my indicators

15. create portfolio and remember them next time they sign in

16. scan for huge volume or big movers

17. allow data from charts to be downloaded by paid members ( ascii format only ) so they can import it and use it if they want

18 . allow new symbols to be requested and automatically download data 10 years from yahoo or google

19 data on today's price to be 20 minute delayed price as provided by yahoo or google

20. try also to obtain FUTRES data for commodities and indices and forex etc.
